In the workshop program:

  • Discussion of the basic tools and functions of the Gardenphilia DESIGNER application
  • Pavement design
  • Greenery design
  • Relaxation zone design
  • Lighting design
  • Export of lists and views

During the workshops, participants work on their own computers. It is also possible to participate as an auditor (without a computer).

A few days before the event, participants will receive workshop materials, and those who do not have a Gardenphilia DESIGNER program license will receive a link to download the trial version.

1.1. FUNCTIONS AND ADVANTAGES of so-called green roofs:

  • Social aspect;
  • Spatial aspect;
  • Economic aspect;
  • Ecological aspect.

1.2. MAIN TYPES OF SO-CALLED GREEN ROOFS AND THEIR DIVISIONS BASED ON:

  • their location relative to the building (INTERNAL or EXTERNAL);
  • the purpose of their construction – i.e., for DECORATIVE, PRODUCTION, SPECIAL functions, including:
    • WITH A SPECIAL GRASSY SURFACE:
      • SPORTS – for example, the mentioned turf of the National Stadium;
      • REINFORCED (e.g., NETLON ADVANCED TURF, FIBRETURF), rarely used (fire lanes, driveways to garbage sheds, etc.);
    • military OBJECTS,
  • the type of greenery used - cultivated plants:
    • (IN CULTIVATION: INTENSIVE, EXTENSIVE, SEMI-INTENSIVE);
  • their use (USED or UNUSED);
  • entities authorized to use them (PUBLIC USE or PRIVATE);
  • on the application or lack of thermal insulation layer:
    • UNINSULATED;
    • INSULATED, with further division based on the arrangement of waterproofing and thermal insulation layers (IN TRADITIONAL or INVERTED LAYER ARRANGEMENT);
  • variation in the slope of the roof surface – i.e., FLAT, SLOPING, STEEP ROOF SURFACE,
  • varying degree of inclination of the greened surface – i.e., FLAT, SLOPING, STEEP, or VARIABLE INCLINATION OF THE GREENED SURFACE,
  • compatibility of material products in the system (SYSTEMIC, so-called "NON-SYSTEMIC");
  • the role of the substrate in the system (so-called "SINGLE" or MULTILAYER);
  • construction of waterproofing (SINGLE-LAYER or TWO-LAYER).
