Educational workshops, contracting and innovations in gardening. Warsaw Garden Expo and the development of the industry

The fourth edition of Warsaw Garden Expo was unlike any other. Participants could take part in practical workshops, education in the form of lectures, as well as use networking tools that facilitate establishing business relationships. The event took place on February 14-16, 2024 at Ptak Warsaw Expo.

Warsaw Garden Expo changes from edition to edition. Each year, this international horticulture fair places greater emphasis on networking, as well as providing visitors with practical knowledge about innovations and changes that affect the industry. The emphasis of the fourth edition of the event was on practical workshops and knowledge in the field of sector regulation.

Warsaw Garden Expo with networking tools integrating business

The aim of each event organized at Ptak Warsaw Expo is to open visitors to the greatest possible opportunities for building new business relationships. During Warsaw Garden Expo, this was done not only thanks to the help of an experienced group of organizers integrating business, but also using a dedicated trade fair application “Exhibitor Scanner”. It made it possible to build a database of potential customers from people who visited individual stands. Thanks to this, each exhibitor could obtain detailed data about people interested in their company.

Information collected during the three days of Warsaw Garden Expo confirmed that a large number of companies left the event with new contract agreements signed. This is also due to the emphasis placed by Ptak Warsaw Expo on the suggested presence of decision-makers from individual companies.

Educational workshops and expert lectures at Warsaw Garden Expo

Visitors to Warsaw Garden Expo could take part in three educational and workshop panels. During Green Corner by Gardenphilia, a meeting was held devoted to the Gardenphilia DESIGNER application, as well as the design of surfaces, greenery, relaxation zones and lighting. It was led by Monika Kilian from Natura Zieleni and Andrzej Komakowski from Gardenphilia.com. Experts also discussed the most important topics in the form of lectures – including challenges related to AI, garden visualization and technical aspects of design.

During the certified training of the Federation of Polish Arborists, the protection of trees in the investment process was discussed. Selected legal standards, proper care of the above-ground part of the tree and methods of protecting root systems are shown. The participants could also take part in the PSDZ and BAUDER POLSKA panel for designers, technical selection and contractors of green roofs. The most effective system solutions, mistakes made, as well as legal aspects were presented. During Warsaw Garden Expo, visitors received a dose of both formal and practical knowledge, which creates even greater opportunities for development in the sector in the future.

Warsaw Garden Expo and the biggest brands

During the fourth edition of Warsaw Garden Expo, Ptak Warsaw Expo hosted 17 502 participants. They learned about offers and made business contacts with 352 exhibitors. This group included, among others, Gardenphilia, MAPEI, GARDEN SPACE, SCULPTOM, ADEZZ, STARGEZ, GOLIAT GRES, Suslight, VANDERSANDEN, EUROPOOL, STIHL, GARANATIA and HAGEA.

The success of this edition resulted in thinking about the next one. More information soon at warsawgardenexpo.com.

The gardening industry is evolving, so it's essential to stay in the loop. This is where Warsaw Garden Expo comes in – an international gardening trade fair whose next edition will take place from February 14th to 16th, 2024, at Ptak Warsaw Expo.

Latest Gardening Trends at Warsaw Garden Expo

The year 2024 in gardening will be a time of transformation. British media, predicting upcoming trends, point to two directions. The first involves dynamic, futuristic colors, plants in neon shades, and an emphasis on creating nighttime gardens. The second is entirely different, drawing inspiration from Generation Z. Their obsession with dramatic landscapes and neo-gothic style will form the basis for illuminated gardens, using unconventional sculptures and ceramics. Additionally, container gardening is expected to become more popular, along with a focus on naturalness. Embracing eco-friendliness, allowing for the natural growth of gardens, and abandoning constant chemical care can have a significant impact on the market.

Experts will discuss these trends and changes awaiting the industry during Warsaw Garden Expo, scheduled for February 14th to 16th, 2024, at Ptak Warsaw Expo. The rich educational offerings on trends, innovations, legal and regulatory reshuffles during the conference are just the beginning of what awaits participants.

The Entire Industry in One Place at Warsaw Garden Expo

What sets Warsaw Garden Expo apart is the gathering of the entire industry, its leaders, experts, and emerging companies in one place. The event will showcase the offerings of leading manufacturers and distributors in the sector. Who will specifically visit the fair? Companies involved in landscape architecture, floristry, gardening, lighting, and gardening technology. However, there will also be exhibitors presenting grilling equipment, planters, garden furniture, gardening tools, and greenhouses.

So far, participants in Warsaw Garden Expo include Europool, STIHL, GARANTIA, Gardenphilia, Fence-Tech, Tarasola, TIN Tours, Ulińscy, CLOVERIS, Wood-Zoo, Power Gift, GABA, Mazur, Husqvarna, and STYROBUD, among others. The list of exhibitors is constantly expanding, and the full version is available on the website warsawgardenexpo.com/exhibitor-catalog.

The previous edition attracted participants from seven European countries, including Germany, Ukraine, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. In 2024, their percentage is expected to be even higher.

The green version of Warsaw Home - the Green Days International Landscape Architecture Fair

The green version of Warsaw Home - the Green Days International Landscape Architecture Fair

On March 23-25, 2023, the largest landscape architecture fair, Warsaw Home Green Days, took place at Ptak Warsaw Expo. The event was filled with networking, as well as many educational panels, thanks to which the visitors increased their professional competences.

Warsaw Home Green Days was the quintessence of a business event. It combined elements of building business relationships and increasing the customer base with the most up-to-date education and certified training. The development of such an event model was the result of Ptak Warsaw Expo’s extensive experience in the field of industry integration and cooperation with sector leaders.

The 2023 edition of Warsaw Home Green Days gathered thousands of visitors and several hundred exhibitors who were focused on exchanging business information, expanding the contact base and acquiring new contractors. This resulted in hundreds of new business contracts concluded on preferential market conditions.

And who participated in Warsaw Home Green Days? You could meet, among others, Kryształowy Świat, Husqvarna, SASS, Selt, Styrobud, Garden Stones, Biżuteria Ogrodowa, Europpol, Dormax Design, Japanese Gardens Bonasi, Cermax, Polski Klaster Budowlany, KuBu, Gardenphilia, Stihl, Luxury Hottubs, Chronos, GaBa, Mazur and Bottanova Group.

A strong educational accent of Warsaw Home Green Days

The spring edition of Warsaw Home Green Days also brought new and wide educational opportunities. Participants could, among others, take part in lectures “Green Dreams and Inspirations” with the participation of ambassadors Olga Piórkowska and Izabela Szarmach. During the event, the participants discussed, among other things, how to design a garden in harmony with nature, what to remember when selling abroad, as well as trends, design and technology for ecology in relation to garden and terrace equipment. Extremely interesting lectures were also given by Dr. Anna Gajda and veterinarian Ewa Mazur, who during their lecture were looking for an answer to the question… how much do bees earn and whether they go to L4.

An extremely popular event accompanying the spring edition of Warsaw Home Green Days was also an exhibition of bonsai and Polish oak. In addition, professionals could take part in a certified training for designers and contractors of green roofs, design workshops with the Gardenphilia DESIGNER program or a free, certified training of the Federation of Polish Arborists entitled “Inventory of trees – a proposal to standardize requirements”.

Thus, Warsaw Home Green Days was a platform not only for networking, building relationships and increasing the sales market, but also for improving individual competences by acquiring “hard” skills.

The next edition of the spring edition of Warsaw Home

We have good news – Ptak Warsaw Expo will also integrate business in the spring of next year. The next edition of this Warsaw Home format will take place on March 21-23, 2023. Thank you for participating in this year’s edition of the event and we invite you to the next one!

Opening of the fair season in green colors!

Between March 17 and 19, 2022, the exhibition space will be filled with gardening and landscape architecture enthusiasts, participating in the largest gardening fair in Poland – Green Days!

The COVID-19 pandemic was a huge blow to the exhibition industry around the world. The restrictions introduced in Poland allowed for the organization of only a small part of the events planned for 2020, the remaining ones had to be postponed or canceled. This state of affairs forced Ptak Warsaw Expo to search for new solutions and make difficult decisions.

Waiting for an industry meeting

One of the first events planned for 2022 in the traditional formula at Ptak Warsaw Expo will be the Green Days Garden and Landscape Architecture Fair. It will be a great opportunity to learn about market trends and novelties, gain or deepen knowledge and experience in the field of gardening.

Green Days is a meeting place for professionals, garden owners and lovers. The event will allow you to establish new business contacts with partners from Poland and all over Europe. The thematic showrooms created for this event, referring to the most important issues related to the garden, will help in simple navigation in the exhibition halls: Landscape Architecture Salon, Garden Salon, Garden Furniture Salon, Florist Salon, Garden Technology Salon and BBQ Salon.

Continue the success of previous editions

Green Days is a recognizable brand not only in Poland, but also in Europe. The last edition of the fair was visited by almost 19,000 people. The huge consumer potential is guaranteed primarily by the Warsaw agglomeration, inhabited by over 3 million people. Among the visitors, we expect many owners of detached houses looking for inspiration to arrange their garden.

Achieve success at the Green Days

Participation in the Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Fair is a great opportunity for your company to establish new business relationships and attract tens of thousands of visitors to your product.

The last edition of Green Days was visited by almost 19,000 people. The huge consumer potential is primarily guaranteed by the Warsaw agglomeration, inhabited by over 3 million people. Among the visitors, we expect many owners of detached houses looking for inspiration to arrange their garden.

The fair is a great place to invite your potential customers base and present your products to them in a working mode. This is one of the few occasions when you can meet so many customers in such a short time.

Appropriate care for the visual impressions and aesthetics of your stand, as well as effective communication, especially before the event begins, will certainly draw more attention of the event participants to your offer. By following the tips below, you will strengthen your participation in the fair, and also save a lot of stress and money when organizing your stand.

Visualization and technical aspects

Before participating in the fair, think over the concept of your stand. Consider which machines are most important to you – it will allow you to fully use the space and arrange the equipment of your stand.

Once you have the plan, it’s time to move on to the stand equipment. Its most important elements are:

Branding – the first element that visitors look for at the stand is a logo or company name. With the use of banners or – to enhance the effect – an LED screen on which you can display how your machines and devices are doing at work.

Lighting – one of the most important elements of the stand, which will allow you to fully display the latest products. The intelligent play of lights will definitely increase the attractiveness of your stand and goods.

The floor – complements and emphasizes the aesthetics of your stand, which we can see in all trade fair centers around the world. Therefore, the cover of the stand area is obligatory at Ptak Warsaw Expo.

Power connection – imagine that you are about to get a new customer, but he needs to urgently use his phone, which is dead. Of course, you offer him a charger, but … you don’t have a connection at the stand. So, when asked if the electricity at the stand is important, we answer – of course!

A meeting place – the fair is tens of thousands of people and hundreds of attractions that generate a lot of noise. When planning your stand, remember about an elegant and well-equipped place to which you will invite potential contractors to make a deal.

The above few tips will surely help your company to achieve success at the fair. If you have questions and are looking for an idea for the implementation of your stand, browse our catalog and contact us – we will create something special together!

Attractions and activities

The stand must have substantial value, but in order to present it, visitors must be effectively gathered. The most important things will be the attractions you prepare. Your brand ambassador presenting products, the possibility of active testing or awards for trade fair participants are just some of the ideas that will help distinguish your stand.

Also, do not forget about reliable human capital during fairs. Experts who will go out to the client and attract him to the offer in an accessible way will be much more effective than one employee hidden in the depths of the exhibition, looking hostile to the visitors.

Preparing new products is a great idea to involve and attract existing customers to the stand. We know from experience that all new products and premieres interest visitors the most. This is a great opportunity to refresh business relations with current partners and deepen cooperation.

Communication

All of the above elements make up the most important one – appropriate communication regarding the presence at the fair. As an organizer, we provide thousands of visitors and offer a wide range of pre-trade marketing collaboration using our channels. What we need to support you are announcements of attractions.

The fair is also a good place to invite the base of your potential customers and present them face-to-face products. This is one of the few occasions when you can meet so many customers in such a short time. During the Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Fair, exhibitors can take advantage of the additional Hosted Buyers program. It is an effective initiative aimed at finding new business partners and developing companies abroad.

Shared success

For our exhibitors, a successful trade fair gives us the feeling of a job well done. We believe that this article will be useful for you and will allow us to bring the exhibition industry back on track during Green Days. At each of these stages, of course, we provide the necessary substantive support, and more details can be found in our “become an exhibitor” tab.

27 kwietnia dzień florysty

Today is Florist's Day!

27 kwietnia dzień florysty

Today is Florist's Day!

April 27 – this day, Polish florists have been celebrating their holiday for 10 years. We wish all Florists that your life will be full of roses! Let your passion for flowers continue to grow!

Thanks to the work and finesse of florists, our celebrations and interiors acquire beauty and character, largely meeting our aesthetic needs. Contrary to appearances, the work of a florist is not easy and it is certainly not a profession in which everyone would find themselves. Of course, in addition to arranging bouquets and the appropriate selection of flowers, the florist must take care of their maintenance and be able to properly protect the plants against rotting or drying out, which requires professional knowledge and skilful use of everyday plant care techniques. Equally important in this profession are the skills that allow you to reach the client and correctly interpret his needs. A professional florist is distinguished by a good understanding of the client’s expectations and preferences, and at the same time efficient finding himself in any style. Here, knowledge in the field of cultural studies and art may be necessary, on the basis of which you can reach the customer’s taste in a unique way or emphasize the style of the interior or event. A good florist is a person with exceptional manual talent, but talent alone is not enough.

A florist is undoubtedly an artist who, apart from broad knowledge and skills, should necessarily have a sense of aesthetics and love flowers. The Fair of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture – Green Days is a unique opportunity to get to know floristic novelties. During the event, participants have the opportunity to learn about modern floristic techniques and plant care, as well as see the latest products and devices offered by hundreds of exhibitors. It is also a great opportunity to conduct business talks and find new business partners. Additionally, the event is accompanied by workshops, during which florists can gain extensive theoretical knowledge and gather interesting experiences.

The economic situation related to the coronavirus pandemic did not spare the florist industry. All events, such as weddings or First Holy Communions and others, which are a profit opportunity for florists who decorate rooms, churches, prepare bouquets for special events, or provide table decorations and First Communion wreaths, have been canceled. For a long time, the chances of earning have decreased enormously and many entrepreneurs are struggling with financial problems, and the industry is losing millions of dollars. The future of many florists becomes uncertain and a large group of florists worry about their work.

We believe that florists and florists will soon be able to return to their activities. As the organizers of the gardening and landscape architecture fairs that have been taking place at Ptak Warsaw Expo for many years, we will do our best to help entrepreneurs renew their business relations as well as broadly promote and sell actively during the upcoming Green Days edition. We keep our fingers crossed for you!

The 4th edition of the Fair of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture – Green Days will be held on March 17-19, 2022 at Ptak Warsaw Expo.

We kindly invite you to the fair!
